Return Policy

General Return Policy Rules

  1. We have a 30-day return policy. If 30 days have passed since the shipping date of your product we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
  2. A product can be returned if it did not meet your expectations or if you received it either damaged, defective, or you want to exchange it for an equal valued product.
  3. Items tailor made to a customer’s specifications cannot be returned unless damaged or defective.
  4. In all cases, if you want to refund or exchange your product please contact us by calling 240-367-7197 or email us at sales@carolineoliving.com. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will work with you to solve your problem.

Follow these steps if the product did not meet your expectations and a return is desired:

  1. The item must be in the same condition you received it. Items not in their original condition, are damaged, show signs of use, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be eligible for a refund.
  2. The item must be returned in the complete original packaging.
  3. A copy of the packing slip invoice included with your item must be sent back with the returned product.
  4. Address the return package to 505 Biggs Ave, Frederick MD 21702. You will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning your item. Also, shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the expense of the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
  5. If you are shipping an item over $75, you may want to consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  6. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  7. If you are approved your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 business days.
  8. If you want an exchange instead of a refund we will work with you to pick an equally priced replacement. You will be charged for the shipping costs back to you.

Follow these steps if the product was damaged or defective:

  1.  We ask that you provide an image of the damage or defect by sending us a photo or by sending your purchase back to us. Caroline O. will pay for the postage costs to return the item back to our facility.
  2. The item must be returned in the complete original packaging.
  3. The item must be in the same condition as you received it.
  4. A copy of the packing slip invoice included with your item must be sent back with the returned product.
  5. Address the return package to 505 Biggs Ave, Frederick MD 21702. Caroline O will pay for the shipping costs for returning your item.
  6. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  7. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  8. If you are approved, 100% of your purchase expense will be refunded. Your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 business days.

Items not eligible for refunds
  1. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Items purchased on sale cannot be refunded.
  2. Items not in their original condition, are damaged, or show signs of use, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be eligible for a refund.
  3. Gift cards are non-returnable

Late or missing refunds

  1. If you haven’t received a refund yet please check your bank account. There is often extended processing time before refunds are posted.
  2. Contact your credit card company. Again, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at sales@carolineoliving.com.
