PRODUCT DELIVERY

All orders are individually hand crafted and take time to manufacture. Therefore, orders will be fulfilled within 14 to 21 days. When your order is shipped you will be notified that it has been sent for delivery.

SHIPPING POLICY

Free shipping is included on orders of $125.00 or more and will be delivered via the USPS Priority Mail Delivery Service. Customers pay the shipping costs for orders less than $125.00. Customers can ship via UPS, FedEx and the USPS using shipping options they choose provided on the shipping options page.

GENERAL RETURN POLICY RULES

  1. We have a 30-day return policy. If 30 days have passed since the shipping date of your product we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
  2. A product can be returned if it did not meet your expectations or if you received it either damaged, defective, or you want to exchange it for an equal valued product.
  3. Items tailor made to a customer’s specifications cannot be returned unless damaged or defective.
  4. In all cases, if you want to refund or exchange your product please contact us by calling 800-736-5040 or email us at sales@carolineoliving.com. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will work with you to solve your problem.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS IF THE PRODUCT DID NOT MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS AND A RETURN IS DESIRED:

  1. The item must be in the same condition you received it. Items not in their original condition, are damaged, show signs of use, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be eligible for a refund.
  2. The item must be returned in the complete original packaging.
  3. A copy of the packing slip invoice included with your item must be sent back with the returned product.
  4. Address the return package to 905 West 7th Street, Unit 235, Frederick MD 21701. You will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning your item. Also, shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the expense of the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
  5. If you are shipping an item over $75, you may want to consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  6. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  7. If you are approved your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 business days.
  8. If you want an exchange instead of a refund we will work with you to pick an equally priced replacement. You will be charged for the shipping costs back to you.

  1. We ask that you provide an image of the damage or defect by sending us a photo or by sending your purchase back to us. Caroline O. will pay for the postage costs to return the item back to our facility.

  3. The item must be in the same condition as you received it.
  4. A copy of the packing slip invoice included with your item must be sent back with the returned product.

ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUNDS

  1. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Items purchased on sale cannot be refunded.

  3. Gift cards are non-returnable

 LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

  1. If you haven’t received a refund yet please check your bank account. There is often extended processing time before refunds are posted.
  2. Contact your credit card company. Again, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at sales@carolineoliving.com.

NEODYMIUM MAGNET WARNING

The neodymium magnets we sell are very strong. Handling them with care is necessary to prevent personal injuries, property and magnet damages. Magnets can cause serious damage to fingers such as breaking bones or losing finger tips if caught between 2 magnets.

Disclaimer: Caroline O neither assumes nor accepts any liability for damages resulting from the handling or use of magnets. With your purchase, the buyer confirms that you have read and understood the following warnings, the buyer agrees that he/she is responsible for all damages and injuries caused by the magnets, which include personal injuries, property damages and magnet damages. The buyer must agree with the terms before purchase.

Neodymium magnets are brittle; they can break or can splinter in a collision. One should wear gloves and protective glasses when handling these magnets, because splinters and/or spacers could disengage and fly from the magnets. Normal neodymium magnets will lose their magnetic properties if heated above 175 degrees F (80 degrees C). The strong magnetic fields of neodymium magnets can damage items such as television, computer monitors, credit cards, bank cards, computers, diskettes and other data carriers, video tapes, mechanical watches, hearing aids, loud speakers and VCRs. Pace-makers may be damaged or switch to "Test Mode" in the presence of a strong magnetic force, if a pace-maker is in use, keep a minimum of 3 feet distance. Children should not be allowed to handle neodymium magnets, as they can be dangerous. Small magnets pose a choking hazard and should never be swallowed or inserted into any part of the body.

Under no circumstances should you try to cut, saw or drill the neodymium magnets! Not only would the magnet break, but also the resulting dust from the magnet is very flammable. Neodymium magnets should never be burned, as burning them will create toxic fumes.

EMERGENCY & FIRST AID PROCEDURES

  • Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water.
  • Eyes: Flush with water and consult a physician for treatment.
  • Inhalation of Smoke or Mist: Move to fresh air and refer to physician for treatment.
  • Ingestion: The material has minimal toxicity, but fluid aspirated into the lungs during ingestion could cause severe pulmonary injury.
  • You should not induce vomiting and should seek medical attention if the material is ingested.
  • Gloves should be worn while working with these ferrofluids. Please refer to MSDS sheet for health and safety information.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All magnets may chip and shatter, but if used correctly, can last a lifetime.
  • Keep away from pacemakers.
  • Not for children, parental supervision required.
  • If damaged please dispose of completely. Shards are still magnetized and if swallowed can inflict serious damage if magnets join inside the digestive tract.
